PV Center for Respiratory Diseases Opens

Thankfully, Mexico hasn’t been affected as severely as other countries, but there is no way to completely stop the virus from spreading. However, we can work together to reduce the spread of the virus, so that our loved ones will stay safe. The 1st Center for Respiratory Diseases opened this past week. It was constructed very fast, so there would be a safe place where sick people with any respiratory diseases including coronavirus can be treated. The PV Center for Respiratory Diseases has advanced technology and plenty of ventilators. The best doctors and specialists in the medical field are on hand to take care of all patients that are in need.

Local Doctor and Medical Specialists Respond Fast

The PV Center for Respiratory Diseases was constructed under Dr. Armando Joya’s direction. Joya is a very respected doctor who is also the CEO of Grupo Medico Joya. He is available at two hospitals for consultations, which include San Javier Hospital in PV and San Javier Hospital in Nuevo Vallarta. Also, SANMARE Healthcare Group has been working with Grupo Medico Joya since 2019 when they opened their doors. The Center for Respiratory Diseases is located next to San Javier Hospital in PV, and was opened very fast. On March 24, 2020 the construction started, then in two weeks on April 6, 2020, the center officially opened their doors.  Modern facilities include rooms that are isolated for intensive care patients. The center is equipped to take care of eighteen patients at once.

Stay Safe With Coronavirus Tips

People worldwide are being affected by the coronavirus and COVID-19. Restaurants, businesses, hotels, and schools have been shut down to slow the virus from being spread. The beaches and malecons locally have also been shut down to prevent vacationers from coming to Puerto Vallarta during this time. Any vehicles that try to enter Puerto Vallarta will be asked to turn around unless they are residents or work in the area. Completely protecting yourself from the virus is impossible, but by practicing good hygiene and staying home you can improve your odds. Remember, nobody should leave their home unless they need medical attention, medicine or groceries. Also, everyone should regularly wash their hands for at least 20 seconds and avoid any persons that may be sick. You can go outside to exercise as long as you stay 2 meters from others. This is safe social distancing that everyone needs to do.

Everyone around the world is hoping life as we know it will return soon. Perhaps, even a better life awaits us if we implement intelligent and thoughtful changes in our lives. To get through this unprecedented time, we must all work together! A COVID-19 update is the center for Respiratory Diseases open in Puerto Vallarta now.
